As The Café Project Basingstoke celebrates its 14th year, the charity is thriving and ready to embark on an exciting new chapter.
Operating the beloved Café Dome, The Café Project is now launching its innovative Stepping Stone training programme, designed to help young adults with learning disabilities transition from education into the workplace.
With the opening of The Orchard Café set for Easter 2025, the charity felt it was time for a fresh, professional image to match its forward-thinking vision. Collaborating with David from Point & Pixel Creative, a local Basingstoke web designer, The Café Project has unveiled a sleek new branding concept.
After 14 years of our current branding, we are looking towards the future and all the exciting things on the horizon. David’s design features a clean, modern typeface that conveys professionalism and trustworthiness while maintaining an approachable tone. The new logomark, composed of interlinked letters C (Cafe) and P (Project), doubles as a stylized tree, symbolizing growth, progress, and nurturing, all core values of The Café Project.
Additionally, we’ve adopted the new tagline, “Every cup supports a journey,” highlighting how each visit to our cafés helps support the learning journey of our trainees. This rebranding marks a significant step forward, reflecting our commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
