I am a dedicated and compassionate member of The Café Project Charity, bringing a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set to our team. With a background in primary education, I have worked as both a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and an Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA), where I developed a deep understanding of the challenges and barriers that can affect personal growth and learning.
After my time in education, I honed my interpersonal skills as a barista in a bustling coffee shop, where I enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life. My evenings were dedicated to studying, and I earned my diploma in counselling.
I am passionate about helping individuals reach their full potential. I offer a unique blend of empathy, insight, and practical skills to support confidence-building and independence. My approach is tailored to each person’s needs, ensuring they feel understood and empowered.
I have expertise in working with young adults with learning disabilities. I understand the unique difficulties they face and am adept at creating supportive and inclusive environments that foster growth and development. My counselling skills enable me to provide personalised guidance, helping trainees overcome obstacles and build resilience.
I love my job and find it incredibly rewarding and enjoyable. I thrive on the fun and dynamic nature of my work and cherish the opportunity to meet fantastic people every day.
