I have been with The Café Project Charity since its inception in 2011, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a fantastic organisation. Over the past 14 years, I have witnessed the café grow from strength to strength, becoming a cornerstone of our community.
With over 35 years of experience in the catering industry, I am passionate about passing on the knowledge and skills I have acquired to our trainees. My understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with additional needs, gained through my family members, allows me to connect with our trainees on a meaningful level. This unique perspective enables me to offer both empathy and practical advice, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
I take a hands-on approach and provide personal attention to each trainee, ensuring they receive the support they need to progress and achieve their goals. I take great joy in the training and development of our trainees, supporting them as they grow in confidence and skill. It has been a true pleasure to work at the café, getting to know our many wonderful customers and their families.
Seeing our trainees grow and succeed is incredibly rewarding, and I am proud to be part of their journey.
