Over the years, The Café Project has become a vital part of the North Hampshire community, promoting inclusion and empowerment for those we serve.
The Café Project was born from the vision of dedicated parents of young adults with learning disabilities.
They recognised a significant gap in opportunities after college, especially with the closure of local day centres. In response, they established The Café Project Basingstoke, a charitable initiative providing employment, volunteering, and development opportunities for people with learning disabilities.
Located in Brighton Hill, Basingstoke, our vibrant café offers a warm and inclusive environment where individuals can build self-esteem, gain valuable skills, and achieve greater independence. Since our incorporation as a private limited company in 2012, we have been committed to fostering a sense of belonging and purpose for our beneficiaries.
At The Café Project Basingstoke, our mission is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where adults with learning disabilities can gain practical experience, build confidence, and achieve personal growth. We are dedicated to bridging the gap between education and employment by providing comprehensive support, training, and opportunities through our innovative Stepping Stones Programme.
